Well, our second favourite holiday of the year has come and gone, and with great success! This year we had Batman, Cinderella and a rock star (Jordan's new obsession since watching Justin Beiber - Never Say Never.), oh yes and a little chicken. The day began at the crack of dawn as the kids got ready for their various halloween parties at school, doesn't it seem like Halloween is becoming a week long affair?
This little chicken was tuckered out before trick or treating downtown even began.
Jared's wig is always a hit.
Mom and dad came up to join in on some of the action and we made a little visit to great grandma Audrey's house for some trick or treating.
After trick or treating downtown, trick or treating at Grandma's and Auntie Barb's, the kids were finally were still hungry for more. So we met up with some neighbours to hit the neighbourhood.
Lucy and I were always one or two houses behind our group because she would always stop to have a little conversation with the people. She would say things like "I like your decorations" or "what's your dog's name?" and our neighbours always wanted to have a little visit with her too. She had even had her picture taken a couple of times! She was a darling little princess.
These two little boys literally sprinted from house to house, I'm amazed I got them to stand still long enough for a picture. A week before halloween, Nathan said in the car "I can't wait for halloween, I'm going to get so much candy I'm going to be sick for weeks!" If we'd given him free reign on the candy, I think that definitely would have been the case! Such a fun time.
