This is the first spring that we have been in our house so it is so fun to see what will bloom next. This is a picture of a double tulip in our front flower bed. The colours are amazing right now! Posted by Picasa

Nathan likes to shimmy his way out of any seat. He doesn't like to be strapped in either so it's sort of a catch 22. He thinks he's very smart. This is Nathan at 3 and a half months. He's a big boy, just over 17 lbs last time we checked! Please note his formal onsie Posted by Picasa
Posted by Picasa Jordan is so cute right now. I made the mistake of telling her that her birthday is coming up. It's not really (June 4th), but it's the closest one of the family. One month to a two year old is going to seem like a year! She talks about it daily and her choice of birthday cake changes daily too. Yesterday she said "Chocolate cake and we need plates and forks, no not forks, spoons!" So she's quite the party planner.
Yesterday, I was driving to my parents house and I was talking to myself about how thirsty I was. Jordan said "It's ok mommy, I'll help you find a drink, we're almost there." She's amazing.

Andi and Jared's Kingdom

We just got back from a great long weekend spent in Castlegar with all of Jared's sibblings and parents. It was the first time we saw baby Kenzie and the first time Jess and Karla saw our baby Nathan. On Sunday, Kenzie was blessed at church in Castlegar. We had a great visit at Doug and Bernice's new house (which is beautiful..good job guys!) with everyone while we were there. While we were there we played a ton of cards (big surprise - the highlight being jared and I beating Jess and Bernice at rook the night before we left. Good for Jared's rook confidence, he's been on a losing streak!). Jared and I took advantage of babysitters and went out running together a couple of times which is always a blast. Jared and da boyz went golfing one afternoon while I went with the ladies for a little walk to see a raging waterfall. We took Jorji to Ice Age 2, and Grandma and Grandpa took her swimming which was the hightlight of her trip. Here's a grandparent thing for you - They took her swimming at 8:30pm to the pool in Trail which is 20 minutes away! So our two year old was out on the town until about 11:00pm - out with her grandparents and two cousins! She was in heaven because she doesn't like to sleep anyway. It was great to see Jared's extended family and have a big Easter dinner with them. The easter bunny paid us a visit and Jordan had a great time finding eggs and playing with her "Max and Ruby" dolls that the Easter bunny brought her. She was also very spoiled by her adoring aunts - thanks guys, she loves you! The next King get togother will be May 6th for Rob's wedding!
