Jorji's 7th Bithday Party!

Once again, Jordan had a fantastic birthday party as these kids partied like rock stars all Friday afternoon!
We were happy that the rain cleared and the sun came out just in time for the party.

We were happy to have Grandma Lee come out for Jordan's birthday party, Grandpa Lee couldn't make it because he was busy being acting mayor of Vernon.
To our surprise, Jordan requested a Star Wars cake for her birthday, I think the princess/fairy/doll/ girlie stage is officially over. Fine with me
We're happy that Jordan has such great friends!

Grandma Lee made 'flubber' with the kids. Jordan loves scientist and wants to be a scientist when she grows up.

The kids played tug-of-war...

relays...

and jumped their little hearts out.
We love our seven year old. Here are seven things that Jordan IS at seven:
1. an inventor
2. an artist
3. a musician
4. an amazing friend, sister and daughter
5. a scientist
6. an athlete
7. bilingual

Camping May long weekend

We had such a great time camping with our good friends the Salmons, The Killistoffs and the Knauffs May Long weekend.
My great friend Angie, we always seem to have so much fun together.
The lost girls. This picture is so perfect because over the weekend we lost Bella twice and Jordan once. Next year we are going to stamp our campsite number on their hands.

We just love Scotch Creek Provincial campground, it's right on Shuswap Lake and is so beautiful.

Ice cream with the Salmons.

Marshmellows for breakfast every morning. Oh yeah, and pancakes.

Each family took a turn cooking a dinner. Here's Jared cooking up our feast.

The kids were in heaven with so many friends. This kayak didn't even see the water this trip but that doesn't mean it wasn't used!
The two year olds. With one missing.
Lulubelle was in heaven because we had two dogs at our sites!
One afternoon, all the girls went out for a run, when we came back, the burgesses were visiting and they were shooting a potato gun in the air while the kids tried to catch the potatos in their nets. Ummm. really? We indulged it for a while but when I saw a potato land and explode two feet from Nathan's head, we shut down the operation. We did have fun with the burgesses too!
Nathan and James
The guys had fun biking... until they crashed!
We love this May tradition and can't wait until next year!
