On Easter Monday, we took the kids for a walk to the bird sanctuary. It was such a beautiful day, one of those days when you are just happy to be alive. The kids were amazing models for me. It
almost made me wish that I had dressed them all cute and actually planned on taking some pictures of them. But honestly, we all know how that would have turned out. Nate is doing so well. He's such a sweet little boy. Right now he loves wrestling, jumping on the tramp, and playing
Wii. It's so fun to play
Wii with Nate, boy's got skills, I've seen him break 200 a few times in bowling. He's made hundreds of little characters on that thing - in fact i think he actually maxed it out, there was no room on the
wii for more characters. He's made short ones, tall ones, fat ones and skinny ones, every person you can imagine has a
Mii on our

Our little
lulubelle is two and has the attitude to go with it. Sure she's still friendly, sweet and smiles all of the time, but now she uses it for evil. We've moved her to a big girl bed because she was crawling out of her crib and sleeping by her door. She's still sleeping by her door but at least now she doesn't have to crawl out of a crib to do it. She stayed in the chapel the entire sacrament meeting the other week (it's an hour and 10 minutes long!), we didn't have to take her out once. A proud moment for parents. However, when you're not getting up in the middle at some point, it makes you realize just how long those meetings are:)
Our
Jorji porgy is as busy as ever taking piano lessons, playing soccer (coached by moi) and running cross country at school. Last week she told me all excited that she heard on TV that
Walmart was lowering their prices, when I was responded less than enthusiastically "oh really?" She said "No really mom, I saw it! They are lowering all of their prices!" The girl loves to make things and still wants to be a scientist when she grows up. You can often find her rummaging through the recycling looking for supplies for her next machine or invention. If she keeps this up, we're going to have to add scotch tape as an expenditure on our monthly budget.
We love our little puppy Lucy! She's such an obedient little pup, she sits, rolls over and gives 5. If only Lucy the little girl could listen as well as Lucy the pup. Seriously though, this girl loves dogs, and not just in a every-kid-loves-dogs sort of way, this is more. She can spot them from any distant and has no fear, she loves HUGE dogs, little dogs, cute dogs and ugly dogs. She tries to give them commands but unfortunately doesn't have much credit with any of them. I wonder why.
Nate has started soccer (coached by Jared) this year and is so excited about it! He runs so fast and I could just watch him play all day. Such a little cutie-pie. More pics of soccer to come.

Loving life as a two year old.
Yeah, I'm a little behind in blogging, but I have a
legitimate excuse. Our computer broke and so we had about a month or so sans computer. Here's my attempt at a catching up. Jess and the kids came up for a week before Easter. It was so fabulous to see them. The kids loved playing with their cousins, it was so great to all be together for Easter. We had an Easter egg hunt at the little putting green down the street from mom and dad's.
Lucy loved the Easter egg hunt this year. She only found a couple though because she would eat them as she went and it took her so long to open the chocolates. Fine with me.
Yeah, our kids are pretty cool.
The Easter bunny delivered. The house was full of happy little egg-hunting children. We were at mom and dad's for Easter and mom always does such an amazing job with holidays. We died Easter eggs (pictures are M.I.A.), decorated cup cakes and had two amazing Easter egg hunts.
Jess and the kids wanted snow when they came up so we all headed up to mom and dad's place at Silver Star and hit tube town. I'll admit I was a little reluctant to go, a little done with snow by
April, but I'm so glad we went, it was some serious fun. Lucy's second time at tube town was not quite as successful as her first. It's hard to blame her, I was losing my stomach on the drops and i think you hit speeds up to 50 km/hour. Such fun.

Beautiful Jess pushing her baby. We had such a great time with Jess and the kids. Lots of visiting and staying up way, way too late, but totally worth it. Can't wait to see them again.
