1rst Summer Trip to Castlegar (August long...)........and stolen pictures! Thanks Karla The kids love the dumdeedoos! Jordan called them dumdedoos all year, and we didn't correct her because I thought it was an awesome name but she caught on right away this year that they are called "seadoos." The kids (big and little:) love the seasoos, I love taking Nathan because when you speed up, you can feel his whole body start to clench and then you'll hear little "whoohoo"'s. Jorji, of course has been a speed demon from day one and this year was no different. She always tells me to go faster!
Justin, Doug and Jared, after a hard long day of golfing! Nothing can bring out smiles this bright like a day of golfing!

Jordan, Nathan and cousin Kenzie playing at the beach on Nancy Green Lake. A very "refreshing" lake in the kootenays:) The kids can play in the sand all day!
PS> These beautiful pics are all courtesy of Karla as I did not have my camera with me. I know it was a travesty, good thing Karla saved the day!

Soccer Camp!

I coached at a couple of soccer camps this year so one week I brought Jordan along as a participant. She loved it and did really well, especially considering she was younger than the rest of the group.
Always the fashion critic, Jordan refused to wear her camp shirt the first day because it was too big. I shrunk it that night and got her some soccer shorts so she was decked out the next day.

Jordan is so fast, I love watching her run.
Duck, Duck GOOSE! A soccer fundamental....

Floyd Summer Visit!
After Panarama, Jess and the four kids came back to Vernon to stay for two weeks. Unfortunately Matt had to get back to Kansas for work. We had a blast while they were here. Mom and dad were re-doing their floors during the first week so we spent a lot of time at our house. It was a rainy week so we had to get creative, hence the pyramid.
Pyramid of cousins, all six of em.
What's a trip to Vernon without hitting Davison's Orchard?
I can't believe we got this picture. Almost perfect.

Enchanted Forest!
This was Nathan's year to LOVE Enchanted Forest. The little houses and little creatures were almost too much for him to take.
The kids with cousins Olivia and LJ.
Jorji of course loved this place! How can you not? I love the fairy tale cottages and enchanted creatures.
Nathan loved this troll. He would go up to it and rub his nose against it and say "adadadada" a little baby chant that jordan used to do with him. We were a little concerned that he didn't realize how hideous it looked. I think he was just happy that he could look him in the eye.

The rest of Panarama (Hill family Reunion in July). Wow. That was so long ago.

Panarama is full of wild life. Not only did we see a moose minutes from the resort but we had a doe and a fawn living in our yard.
Caleb and Britt chillin. It was so fun to be in a house all together with the family

Me, Jess and cousin Lisa with the boys.

Each family had a night to cook dinner for everybody. This worked out great because it meant we only had to cook once and it meant we all got together each night!
Jess and Benny
Nacer loved all of my pretty female cousins. He was such a flirt (hiding his face and giggling)! This is him playing with my cousin Julie.
A typical day was spent by the pools, it was wierd to be swimming surrounded by snow capped mountains!

More Panarama!
The kids loved this bridge and taking walks by the river at Panarama. Notice their soccer digs, poor kids don't have a chance.
The King men.
Lil' surfer dude!
Jorji LOVED the pools at Panarama. They were shallow and very warm! She played for hours and hours and would return to the house exhausted like in this pic!

Jorji and Livy playing together at Panarama. They had so much fun this year together. They seemed to pick up right where they left off last winter.

Rafting on Toby Creek
Panarama was jam packed with fun activities. Rafting was one of them. Toby Creek is right in Panarama and has class II and III rapids. It was a blast and definitely wet our appetites for more rafting in the future. We filled two boats with cousins and spouses.
This was our boat.

The crew at the end of the fun trip. Every one here is family except the one guy and his kid in the bottom left hand side of the pic. We think he thought dad was the trip photographer.

The Lee Girls!
The Hill Girls!
My 95 yr old Grandpa riding preparing to ride the gondola.
A favourite activity was riding the free gondola from the village to the river. It was a little scary with lots of kids, but they loved it!
