Merry Christmas!

(Our beautiful niece Sydney)
We had such a joyous Christmas filled with family, laughter, food, excitement and love.
We were so happy to have karla, Justin, Kenzie, Sydney and Jessie stay with us for a few days over the holidays. The kids loved playing with their cousins and we loved having a sweet little baby in the house and all their wonderful company.

Our Christmas pageant this year was so successful!! We had a beautiful little Mary, a cooperative Joseph, angelic angels and even a willing wiseman and shepherd. Karla narrated while jared provided the music. The kids were so sweet, it really was a nice little pageant with WAY less tears than last year. Jared and I hosted our first EVER Christmas dinner this year and with huge success I must say. We had my family: mom and dad, Jared, Zach, Britt and her friend, Amanda, Caleb and Kailey as well as the Leleuxs and Jessie King. It was such a great night, the dinner was delicious and we spent the night playing games and laughing the night away. Games of choice for the evening: that acting/celebrity game, dice, things in a box. It was such a wonderful way to spend Christmas day.

Christmas morning with five kids and five adults was so chaotic and fun. We got up around 7:30, which we were SOOOO grateful for. The kids, big and small loved every minute of it. I didn't think our living room would ever be the same but amazingly enough we were able to put it all back together again for our party that evening.

Jordan opening a much anticipated present, now if only the snow would melt, so she can try this puppy out.

Little lucy wanted to open each of her presents and play with them first before moving on to the next. At one point I asked her if she wanted to open a present and she said "umm, I can't because my puppy is hungry."

Nate was in heaven!

Christmas Eve day was filled with visiting family, playing in the snow, building a gingergread house and preparing for our delicious Christmas Eve feast.

Our sweet little Mary.

Handsome Nathan as Joseph.

A highlight of the Christmas season around here is visiting Santa at the "North Pole" and visiting the Christmas lights. It was such a beautiful night with lots of snow, a perfect activity for Dec. 23.
Our little family with a VERY pregnant mamma.
Nate refused to even see the old man this year.
We sure love our Auntie Jessie!Jared with his beautiful sisters Jessie and Karla.

It looks like you had an awesome Christmas! By the way, that Santa with the real beard and long white hair looks amazing! Did the kids believe he was the real deal?
